These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of DropPrint — the website at dropprint.co.in, the ordering and administration application at https://app.dropprint.co.in, and every page, API and service we provide under the DropPrint name (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by DropPrint ("DropPrint", "we", "us"). Please read these Terms carefully. If you do not agree with them, do not use the Service.
1. What DropPrint is
DropPrint is a software platform that connects people who need documents printed ("Customers") with independent print shops, xerox centres, stationery stores and campus print counters ("Shops"). A Customer uploads files from a phone or computer, chooses print settings, and collects the finished prints at the Shop. Each Shop receives a branded ordering page, a dashboard to manage incoming requests, and tools to produce print-ready files.
DropPrint is a technology intermediary, not a printer. We do not print, own, operate or control any Shop. The printing contract — including price, quality, turnaround and collection — is formed directly between the Customer and the Shop. Shops are independent businesses responsible for their own listings, prices, opening hours, payment collection, taxes, licences and conduct.
2. Accepting these Terms
By uploading a file, placing an order, registering a Shop, signing in to a dashboard, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or using the Service under the supervision of a parent or guardian), that you can form a binding contract under Indian law, and that you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will change, and material changes will be announced on the Service or by email to registered Shops. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
3. For Customers
- No account needed. You order by giving a mobile number and, optionally, your name. The number is used by the Shop to identify your order and by you to track it. Give a number you control.
- Your order is a request. A Shop may decline, delay or cancel an order — for example if a file is unreadable, the content is prohibited, or the Shop is closed. Order status is shown live on your tracking page.
- Check before you submit. Page counts, orientation, colour mode, copies and totals are shown before you place an order. You are responsible for reviewing them. Prints produced according to the settings you chose are not eligible for a refund because the settings were wrong.
- Collection. Collect your prints at the Shop during its opening hours using your order code. Shops may dispose of uncollected prints after a reasonable period and are not obliged to reprint them.
- Problems with a print (smudged, incomplete, wrong paper) should be raised with the Shop at the counter. The Shop decides on reprints and refunds. If a Shop behaves unfairly you can report it to us at support@dropprint.co.in; we may act under Section 13.
4. For Print Shops
- Accurate listing. You must provide true, current information about your business: legal name or trading name, address, city, opening hours, contact details, prices and UPI ID. You are responsible for keeping these up to date. Listings may be reviewed before going live and may be removed if inaccurate.
- Your page, your prices. You set per-page prices, options and payment mode. Prices shown to Customers are set by you and are binding on you for orders placed while they are displayed.
- Serve the orders you accept. Move orders through the dashboard promptly and accurately. Mark payments only when you have actually received them. Do not use a Customer's files or phone number for anything other than fulfilling their order.
- Your staff. You may create staff logins. You are responsible for everything done through your Shop's accounts. Keep passwords confidential and remove staff who leave.
- Compliance. You are solely responsible for your business's registrations, GST and other taxes, invoices to Customers, consumer-protection obligations, and for not printing content that is unlawful (see Section 7).
- Branding you upload (logo, name, colours) must be yours to use. You grant us a licence to display it on the Service for the purpose of operating your page and listing.
5. Plans, billing & trials
Shops use the Service under a plan (for example Free or Pro). Plan names, prices, order limits and features are shown on dropprint.co.in and in your dashboard, and may change over time; changes do not affect a period you have already paid for.
- Free plans may include a monthly order limit. When the limit is reached, online ordering pauses until the next month or an upgrade.
- Trials give access to paid features for a fixed number of days, without payment. At the end of a trial your Shop moves to the Free plan (if available) or ordering pauses until you subscribe. We do not charge automatically at the end of a trial.
- Paid plans are billed in advance for the period stated (for example monthly). Payment is made to DropPrint by the method we indicate (such as UPI or bank transfer). Your plan remains active until the renewal date shown in your dashboard. If payment for the next period is not received, online ordering for your Shop pauses until it is; your data and listing are retained for at least 60 days.
- Refunds. Plan fees are non-refundable except where required by law or where we have failed to provide the Service for a sustained period through our own fault, in which case we will refund or credit the unused portion.
- Taxes. Prices are stated exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
6. Payments between Customers and Shops
DropPrint does not process, hold or transfer money between Customers and Shops. Where a Shop enables UPI, the Service generates a payment request (QR code or UPI link) that pays the Shop's own UPI ID directly through the Customer's UPI app. Where a Shop chooses "pay at counter", payment happens in person. In every case the payment is made to the Shop, the Shop is the merchant, and any dispute, refund or chargeback is between the Customer and the Shop (and their respective banks or UPI apps). "Payment done" buttons and payment statuses on the Service are informational flags set by the Customer or the Shop; they are not confirmation by DropPrint that funds moved.
7. Acceptable use & prohibited content
You may not use the Service to upload, request, print or distribute content that:
- infringes copyright, trademark or other rights (for example full copies of books or paid study material you are not licensed to copy);
- is obscene, pornographic, or sexually explicit involving minors in any form;
- is defamatory, threatening, hateful, or incites violence against any person or group;
- is counterfeit — currency, stamps, government IDs, certificates, tickets, or documents designed to deceive;
- contains malware or is intended to attack, probe or overload the Service or a Shop's systems;
- violates any applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules under it.
You also may not scrape the Service, resell access to it, misrepresent yourself as another Shop or as DropPrint, or interfere with other users' orders. Shops may refuse any job. We may remove content, cancel orders, and suspend accounts that breach this section, and we cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.
8. Files, storage & deletion
- Files you upload are stored on our servers only so that the Shop you chose can print them. Only that Shop's authorised users (and DropPrint personnel for support or security, under confidentiality) can access them.
- Files uploaded but not turned into an order are deleted automatically within 24 hours.
- Files attached to an order are deleted automatically a short period after the order is delivered or cancelled (currently 7 days, so that reprints and disputes can be handled). Shops cannot keep files on the Service beyond that.
- Order records (code, phone number, totals, status history) are retained for accounting and fraud-prevention purposes as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Deletion is permanent. Keep your own copy of anything you upload.
9. Intellectual property
The Service — its software, design, text, logos and the DropPrint name — belongs to DropPrint and its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use the Service as intended by these Terms. You keep all rights in the files and content you upload; you grant us and the Shop you select a limited licence to store, process and print them solely to fulfil your order. Feedback you send us may be used without obligation to you.
10. Availability & changes to the Service
We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, upgrades, hosting or network failures, and events outside our control may cause downtime. We may add, change or withdraw features, and may discontinue the Service with reasonable notice to registered Shops. We are not liable for Shops being closed, out of stock, or unable to print.
11. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, and make no promise about print quality, pricing, turnaround or conduct of any Shop.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DropPrint, its owners, employees and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of profits or business, or for the acts or omissions of any Shop or Customer. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the plan fees you paid to us in the 3 months before the claim, or (b) ₹1,000. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DropPrint from claims, damages, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law or third-party right, the content you upload or print, or (for Shops) your business operations and your dealings with Customers.
13. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, remove a listing, or cancel orders, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached, the law requires it, or continued access would create risk for other users or for us. Shops may close their account at any time from the dashboard or by emailing support@dropprint.co.in; on closure the listing is removed and data is deleted according to the Privacy Policy. Sections 6–9 and 11–15 survive termination.
14. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Before going to court, you agree to contact us at support@dropprint.co.in and attempt to resolve the matter in good faith for 30 days. Subject to that, the courts having jurisdiction in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
15. General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may assign them to a successor of the business. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any plan-specific terms shown in your dashboard, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. Notices to you may be given by email to the address on your account or by posting on the Service.
